My wife was going to kill me if I didn't get my Sheltie puppy under control. The little guy was terrorizing our Maltese and barking at anything that moved. The two cats were not overly happy with him either. So, I took a chance on this collar. She wanted me to get a shock collar, but I didn't think "zapping," him was such a good idea, though if this collar didn't work, that would have been the next step. I got the collar and put it on him. I guess it wasn't tight enough, because he ate through the collar within an hour. That would make about four collars he has turned to scrap since I got him. He is really good at it:( Anyway, I fixed the collar and tried again. From the first spray, he has finally started to blend into our family instead of trying to take it over. I'm amazed how well this thing works. Most of the time we just use the warning beep, and he straightens right up. What a life saver. His and mine:)
